Poole is a vibrant town with a good balance of old and new.
At one end of the town is the Dolphin Centre - a 2 storey undercover
shopping centre with several well known shops, a library and a sports centre.
Just outside the Dolphin Centre is Falkland Square. A Farmers Market is held
here each Thursday morning where Farmers and Bakers bring organic and free
range products grown or made locally.
The High Street (pictured below) is mainly pedestrianised, with a good selection
of shops, cafés and restaurants that offer plenty of choice for all tastes. Along
part of the High Street, a street market is held every Thursday between 9am and 5pm.
